The Only USDA Certified Organic Pet Hemp Oil on The Market!

If you have taken a look in our product shop, one of our proudest achievements here at Valerio Paws is being known to have produced the only USDA Certified Organic Pet Hemp Oil on the market.

If you’re like the majority of the population, you may not fully understand how important this is, and that’s okay. That’s what we are here for. We are here to explain to you why it’s important for your dog or cat to be provided with organic hemp oil.

What Does USDA Organic Mean?

Well, first let’s dive into the ‘GMO’ part of things. If a product is classified as ‘GMO’ this means that particular product is a genetically modified organism. GMOs have been shown to produce free radicals in the body (increasing risk of illness).

The use of genetic modification is not permitted in organic products. This means a farmer is not able to plant any type of genetically modified seeds. It’s quite an extensive process to get the ‘organic, non-GMO’ title from the USDA due to all the regulations, processes, and requirements involved.

But, as the USDA says, it’s important to protect ‘from farm to table.’

Why Being Organic is Important

A product being labeled as ‘organic’ doesn’t really mean much unless you do some research. To the average consumer, it’s basically just another label. But, this little piece of information is critical to our pet’s well-being (and our own).

After you read this article, you may even look at the items in the grocery store differently as you’re shopping for your next week of meals.

We already talked about the restrictions on organic products. But, we didn’t discuss the actual factors in much detail. In addition to not being able to be genetically modified, other standards must be met involving soil quality, animal raising practices, pest control, weed control, and the use of additives.

Organic farmers rely solely on natural substances and work hard to ensure their farm continues to serve as an area where wildlife can continue to flourish.

Coming directly from the USDA, they state:

“Organic food is produced by farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations. Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones. Organic food is produced without using most conventional pesticides; fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering; or ionizing radiation. Before a product can be labeled “organic,” a Government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to make sure the farmer is following all the rules necessary to meet USDA organic standards.”

Summing It Up: Organic is the Way to Go

In a nutshell, organizations identifying themselves as organic must prove they are conserving biodiversity, using only substances approved by the USDA, and protecting natural resources, while ensuring the health and safety of consumers (humans, pets, etc).

As you can see on our product page, to date, Valerio Pet Hemp Oil is the only USDA Certified Organic Pet Hemp Oil on the market. You can have peace of mind of knowing exactly what you are providing to your dogs and cats (USDA Certified Organic Hemp Oil) that is 100% pure.
